Send the job details with the file
Include product, finished dimensions, quantity, indoor or outdoor use and required handover time. State whether you need design help, finishing, fitting or delivery. For apparel, include garment colours, sizes, quantities and print positions; for replacement roll-up graphics, include the mechanism details.
Keep the original artwork
Send the original logo or highest-quality artwork available rather than a screenshot. Ask for the file specification for your chosen product before exporting: bleed, safe areas, scale and image resolution depend on the output. There is no single resolution rule for a business card and a large sign viewed from the street.
Check a proof deliberately
Review spelling, phone numbers, addresses, prices, dimensions and cropping. Make clear who can approve production. If exact brand colour matters, discuss the material and proof options; an uncalibrated screen is not a guarantee of how ink will look on every surface.
Understand what your quote includes
Confirm the quantity, material, preparation, finishing, taxes and any delivery, installation or urgent-production charges. File receipt is not order acceptance. The agreed specification and confirmed handover define the job.
DIRECT ANSWERS
What else should you know?
Is a phone screenshot enough for printing?
It may be insufficient for the required size. Send the original file if possible so the artwork can be assessed against the actual output.
Should every file have the same bleed and resolution?
No. Ask for the specification for your product and final dimensions before preparing the export.
Can you help if my artwork is not ready?
Artwork and file preparation support is available. Describe what you have and what help you need so that scope, cost and timing can be agreed.
